Commercial Clients
EirGrid Celtic Interconnector
Noel Kelleher Tree Care was subcontracted by Sorensen Civil Engineering to undertake extensive site clearance and vegetation works as part of the EirGrid Celtic Interconnector Project. This major infrastructure project required the preparation and clearance of a substantial clearance to facilitate the installation of underground electricity cables.
The Celtic Interconnector is a major energy infrastructure project that will connect Ireland's electricity grid directly to France, improving energy security and supporting renewable energy development
Working across approximately 40 to 45 kilometres of the route between Carrigtwohill and Youghal, our team was responsible for ensuring that all vegetation and obstructions were safely removed, allowing construction activities to proceed efficiently and on schedule.

Macroom Bypass
Noel Kelleher Tree Care worked in close cooperation with Jons Civil Engineering during the Macroom Bypass project, delivering vegetation clearance and site preparation works over a six-month period.
Effective coordination was maintained through regular site meetings, daily briefings, and ongoing communication between both teams to ensure works were completed safely and in line with the project programme.
By working collaboratively with the main contractor and other stakeholders, we helped support the successful delivery of this major road infrastructure project.
Glanmire Glasaboy flood relief scheme
Noel Kelleher Tree Care worked closely with Sorensen Civil Engineering on the Glanmire Flood Relief Scheme, carrying out vegetation clearance and tree works as part of the project. The scheme is a major flood protection project in Glanmire and Sallybrook designed to help protect over 100 homes and businesses from flooding. Regular site meetings, daily briefings, and ongoing communication ensured works were completed safely and in line with the project programme. Good cooperation between all parties helped maintain progress and minimise disruption throughout the works.
Kerry Greenway
Noel Kelleher Tree Care worked closely with the main contractor on the South Kerry Greenway project, carrying out vegetation clearance and tree works along sections of the route. The South Kerry Greenway is a major walking and cycling project extending approximately 32km between Glenbeigh and Reenard in Co. Kerry. Regular communication, site meetings, and daily briefings ensured works were completed safely, efficiently, and in line with the project programme.
